| South Bay Trekking Company began in 2008 to offer outdoor experiences to residents and visitors of Silicon Valley and beyond. Our programs vary in activity, ability level, and length. We focus on safety, environmental sustainability, fitness, and a positive leisure experience for the entire group. We are also a full-service authorized provider of Red Cross health and safety courses. We specialize in Lifeguard, Water Safety, Emergency Response, Wilderness First Aid, CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid. Owner and Chief Exploration Officer Jeff Griffith-Jones brings to the company a background in many outdoor activities from his youth through his years earning Eagle Scout, and education from the National Outdoor Leadership School's Outdoor Educator-Mountaineering course and degree in Commercial Recreation, Tourism, and Business at San Jose State University. All South Bay Trekking Company guides and instructors are fully trained in our proprietary guide education in risk management, competence in the field, and environmental awareness. Guides are certified in CPR and First Aid. South Bay Trekking Company is licensed and insured. |
